Point 1: Religion

While there was no objection to Islam being the national religion of Malaysia there should be no State religion in Borneo (Sarawak & Sabah), and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of Malaya should not apply to Borneo

Double Six Tragedy in Memory

36 years ago 6.6.1976 Tun Mohd Fuad Stephens Chief Minister of  Sabah and 10 of his cabinets met with this tragedy (or conspiration?)

The Double Six Tragedy, also known as the Double Six Crash, was a plane crash which took place on June 6, 1976 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The plane, operated by Sabah Air, coming from Labuan crashed in the sub-district of Sembulan in Kota Kinabalu upon approaching Kota Kinabalu International Airport. The crash killed everyone on board the flight, including Tun Fuad Stephens, the Chief Minister of Sabah at that time.

The other passengers on the flight were State Ministers Datuk Salleh Sulong, Datuk Peter Mojuntin, Chong Thien Vun, and assistant minister Darius Binion. Others who perished were the then Secretary of State for the Ministry of Finance of Sabah Datuk Wahid Peter Andau, Director of Economic Planning Unit of Sabah Dr. Syed Hussein Wafa, Isak Atan (Private Secretary to Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah), Corporal Said Mohammad (bodyguard to Tun Fuad Stephens), Captain Gandhi Nathan (the pilot of the aircraft) and Tun Fuad's eldest son Johari Stephens.

The reason behind the crash is uncertain. Immediately after the accident there were allegations of foul play due to the political circumstances at the time. The Australian government sent a team of four investigators to assist in finding the cause of the accident. Mechanical failure was ruled out, and preliminary investigations indicated overloading was one of the contributing factors. The real reason for the crash remains a mystery, and the original report on the incident remains classified.

In the afternoon following the accident, Deputy Chief Minister Harris Salleh was sworn in as the sixth Chief Minister of Sabah.

The aircraft was an Australian designed and built Nomad. Tragedy happened at 3:50PM and crashed was in Sembulan, Kota - Kinabalu.

Borneo Citizen (Sarawakian) been abducted by Strangers in Sarawak, Malaysia

Malaysians and the world expect them to immediately throw light on the whereabouts of Peter as six hours are definitely enough time for the police authorities to come out with clear statement of Jaban’s whereabouts or an open admission that lawlessness in Malaysia have reached a new level where three persons completely uninvolved with the police or the government have abducted Peter in broad daylight in Miri in Malaysia! Also from his family  back in  Sarawak :

 Quoted :

Yesterday, Peter’s father Jaban said Peter’s alleged disappearance in Miri was the only news the family had of Peter.

“I have not seen him for two years,” said Jaban who lives in Jalan Dato Mohd Musa (old Muara Tuang Road) in Kota Samarahan. He said he hoped one day Peter would come to his senses and take days off from RFS to visit them, especially on festive occasions.

On June 10th, 2012 [from peter John Jaban] - This is our chance is to bring about real change in Sarawak politics. My struggle for Sarawak will continue where it’s needed most.

The events of the last week have revealed many things. The first is just a reminder of how much I love this country, how much I love Sarawak.

As the Malay saying goes: ‘Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri.’ I am a Sarawakian. I need to be here among my people to work effectively. I started Radio Free Sarawak and moved to London mainly because freedom of expression here in my own country is lacking – something that I am trying to change. But, I just couldn’t stay away.

Now, I feel that I can best continue my struggle for the future of Sarawak here. No matter what London offers, it has nothing to compare to my own ties that bind me to Sarawak, my ibu pertiwiku, as it is called in the Sarawak state anthem.

So, maybe you’ll see me driving around town in my Cadillac with my beautiful daughter at my side. I’ll even wave again at YB Abdul Karim Hamzah, Assistant Youth Development Minister, as he stares at me from his tiny classic car.

What else have I learnt from the last week? I have learnt that I am safer here than in any other country. In spite of all the stories from the government-controlled media trying to paint me black, I have learnt that, when I need help, the people of Sarawak are right there behind me.

There are so many great heroes here in this state, carrying on their good work and supporting my own; I feel proud to work with them and will continue to do so wherever they need me.With regards the near future, I will continue to take action, fighting on the ground for the people of Sarawak.

I fly no flag but theirs, as I have always done. I know that Radio Free Sarawak will carry on, business as usual, spreading the message to where it is needed and, of course, I will give them every assistance in that.
I urge listeners to continue to tune in and listen to the real message. You might even hear me reporting from the interior. But from now on, I’m staying right here.

........................

My thanks go out to them and all those who helped me – the good Samaritans, Dr Michael Teo, the lawyers Alan Ling and See Chee How. If any fingers are still being pointed at my supporters and friends who came to my aid in my time of need – I want this to stop now.

This is the only reason why I am making this statement at this time.  In reality, I’d be quite happy for this whole event to pass into history. ~ Peter John Jaban ; famously known as Papa OrangUtan.

SABAH JOINED THE FEDERATIONS

The inhabitants of Sabah have based their societies on kinship and by tribal affiliations. Under the British Chartered Company headhunting was outlawed, and the native codes of law (adat) were 'modernized'. Life went at a generally placid pace and it was not until the 1960s that a political consciousness emerged. The winds of change - the tide of independence being experienced by other countries had arrived in Sabah. It began with an announcement in 1961 by the Prime Minister of Malaya, Tunku Abdul Rahman, regarding the formation of the Federation of Malaysia which was to include Malaya, Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Singapore. Malaysia was formally established, without Brunei, on 16 September 1963 and North Borneo's name was changed to Sabah. Preceding this, North Borneo obtained self-government from the British on 31 August 1963.

As a state within the Federation many changes occurred, administratively, politically and socially. The pace of development was hastened and Sabah entered a new and challenging era when she became part of the Federation of Malaysia. Though some initial struggles and conflicts with its neighbours, Indonesia and the Philippines, and interesting internal government politics Sabah remained a peaceful nation where the many different ethnic groups from various belief systems live in harmony together.

Size of States in Malaysia

Someone said something yesterday that had me interested in the subject. It was about the size of our states. This is what I got.

Sarawak
Land area : 48,050 Sq Mile
Population : 2,420,009

Sabah
Land area : 28,429 Sq Mile
Population : 3,117,405
Pahang
Land area : 13,953 Sq Mile
Population : 1,443,365

Perak
Land area : 8,122 Sq Mile
Population : 2,258,428

Johor
Land area : 7,420 Sq Mile
Population : 3,348,283

Kelantan
Land area : 5,830 Sq Mile
Population : 1,459,994

Terengganu
Land area : 5,033 Sq Mile
Population : 1,015,776

Penang (Seberang Prai is not shown here)
Land area : 3,800 Sq Mile
Population : 1,520,143

Kedah
Land area : 3,700 Sq Mile
Population : 1,890,098

Selangor
Land area : 3,129 Sq Mile
Population : 5,411,324

Negeri Sembilan
Land area : 2,581 Sq Mile
Population : 997,071

Malacca
Land area : 642 Sq Mile
Population : 788,706 (2010)

Perlis
Land area : 317 Sq Mile
Population : 227,025 (2010)

Note : I have checked and rechecked the land areas to the best of my available resources. Admittedly, for example Sarawak, some claim its size is this size and some by that size. However, these differences are noarmally by 100 to 300. So I think it is safe to say we have at least very close proximity of its actual size.

Sarawak, at  48,050 Sq Mile, is the largest state in Malaysia. While Sabah takes second place. You could fit Pahang, Perak, Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu, Penang and Kedah into Sarawak. That is about 64% of the Peninsula Malaysia! Did you know that? I didn't! I never thought of looking at it that way.

Meanwhile, Sabah at 28,429 Sq Mile, could take in the remainder four Peninsula States, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Perlis and still have extra room of 21,760 Sq Mile to wiggle. Therefore, Sabah and Sarawak combined, are bigger than the Peninsula Malaysia. However, according to TV1's display, the Peninsula Malaysia is bigger than the two Malaysian Borneo states :P

Note the map at the background?
Now let us look into the districts in Sabah.

Beaufort
The district of Beaufort is 670 Sq Mile in size with a population of 75,900 (2000). The district is bigger than present day Malacca and also Perlis. Malacca has 788,706 population and Perlis has 227,025!

Kinabatangan
Kinabatangan is 2,550 Sq Mile big! Population - 86,783 (2000). It is only about 31 Sq Mile smaller than Negeri Sembilan and definitely way way bigger than Malacca and Perlis combined!

Lahad Datu
At 2,562 Sq Mile big, need I say more?

Nabawan
2,351 Sq Mile.

So that concludes this post.

Adakah mereka bersyukur sumber alam seperti minyak & gas, kayu balak, etc dirompak siang hari?

Mathematic has proved that Malaysia is no longer EXIST!

The calculation above was adapted from Leslly Kalom (below)

Federated States of Malaya + States of Singapore + North Borneo + States of Sarawak : Federation of Malaysia (1963)

Status : Equal Partner

Malaya + Singapore + Sabah + Sarawak - Singapore (Kicked Out) : United States of Malaysia (1965)

Status : 1 out of 13 states in Malaysia (Equal with Penang, Selangor, Kelantan, Pahang, Johor, Perak, Terenganu, Melaka, Kedah, Perlis, Negeri Sembilan)

Malaya + Sabah + Sarawak - Sabah - Sarawak : United States of Malaya (2063)

Status : Republic of Borneo/United States of Borneo (Sabah + Sarawak)!!

Status : Independent Sovereign Country!!

***Federation and United are actually the same meaning. It's just the matter about from where the word belong to... Federation is from British word while United from America. So, "y" can be apply either Federation or United. Both can and be apply and valid. The year 2063 is just a random prediction year that Sabah and Sarawak are no longer with Malaya. It can be early than that and better we pray for that.***

BUKTI PERKONGSIAN - SABAH, SARAWAK, BRUNEI, SINGAPURA PERSEKUTUAN TANAH MELAYU (MALAYA)
